worried lady from chicago

Hi!Maria its me again russi i wrote you about my face become darker last time. And you told me avoid the sun and put sun block and i did!Actually i never go out in the sun.But i dont understand my face become ashy and dry for almost 5 weeks and still peeling how long it will get even. Should i continue the regimen or stop. please advise i cant wait the result.

Answer:

Hi Russi, the regular process should be experiencing the normal side effects such as ashy-ness, dryness, redness and stinging prior to peeling. When skin starts to peel, the ashy appearance tends to fade away after a few days as the lighter skin layer resurfaces on skin.

If you feel that your skin has peeled most of the concerned area for lightening, and still does not show any sign of improvement until now, then the products are not working well with your type of skin. However, in some cases, delayed results are still possible until 8 weeks.

You know your skin best, if you feel that you're not happy with what you're seeing after 5 weeks, you can pull the plug if it's going to waste your time. After you discontinue, go back to moisturizing your skin regularly and everything will go back to its original skin tone.

Hi! Maria its me again my first used August 2,2010 and nothing happened but after 3weeks started to get ashy and peeled thats why i counted for 5weeks now sept25 i can see a little result but there's part that's not even like dead skin needs to remove.Do you think i need to give more time than 5week or stop now.Because i feel like its need more peeling because i see the shiny light brown skin in my both cheek.

Answer:

Hi Russi, you can concentrate on applying the skin whitening products once daily on the cheeks where it needs more treatment. If it stings, use less often. Don't forget to moisturize this area because peeling can dry out skin, to have that rosy effect. If after 1 week more and you see no improvement, I guess you have tried enough, dear.
