Hi!Maria its me again russi i wrote you about my face become darker last time. And you told me avoid the sun and put sun block and i did!Actually i never go out in the sun.But i dont understand my face become ashy and dry for almost 5 weeks and still peeling how long it will get even. Should i continue the regimen or stop. please advise i cant wait the result.
Answer:
Hi Russi, the regular process should be experiencing the normal side effects such as ashy-ness, dryness, redness and stinging prior to peeling. When skin starts to peel, the ashy appearance tends to fade away after a few days as the lighter skin layer resurfaces on skin.
If you feel that your skin has peeled most of the concerned area for lightening, and still does not show any sign of improvement until now, then the products are not working well with your type of skin. However, in some cases, delayed results are still possible until 8 weeks.
You know your skin best, if you feel that you're not happy with what you're seeing after 5 weeks, you can pull the plug if it's going to waste your time. After you discontinue, go back to moisturizing your skin regularly and everything will go back to its original skin tone.
