Whitening or Lightening lotion or cream with black soap on acne prone and enlarged pore skin

by Char
(Philadelphia)

Hi Maria, This is very long, but I have a couple of questions. First I want to give my background. I am a 27 year old African American female with adult acne, acne scars, uneven skin that lacks a glow and suppleness, very large enlarged pores on the apples of my cheeks and upper lip area, as well as under eye wrinkling, fluffiness and dark circles, and fine lines near my mouth. I wear make up and definitely need these areas to be taken care of.

I have my eye on the black soap kit with the toner, collagen cream and whitening cream from the Diana Stalder line.
-I just want to know if the soap will help with these areas (Acne and pores, facial wrinkles) for I know it helps with the other things (lightening the skin).
-And I know that the soap is a glycerin base and don't have micro scrubbers for exfoliating (which I'm use to with my current face soap-Ambi facial scrub) How exactly does it give a deep down pore cleansing and refine the skin, and remove make up residue, without defoliators (little scrubby things)
-In addition since this soap isn't good to use around the eye area. What soap to use to get rid of the eye make up residue a make up remover can't get rid off?

And about the lightening or whitening, lotion or cream. Which one will be the best for my condition? I wouldn't mind the lotion or cream for aging skin since I'm only 3 years away from 30 and would love to have anything to keep me looking young as possible. I am a little disturbed about the Para bean, and mineral oil ingredient in both and don't want anything to clog my pores making my enlarged pores larger and creating more breakouts.
-Is there a way to make either without those ingredients for they are a sure thing for clogging pores and creating breakouts? The kit comes with the collagen cream (as a moisturizer but want to know will this also clog my pores and make them larger and create breakouts) and whitening cream. But want to know which one will suite me better for my skin care situational needs.

I am not necessarily looking for my skin to get lighter, but more for an all over even skin tone and glow, with refined pores, supple skin and wrinkle free. But, if I get lighter to get this effect. Then it wont necessarily be a problem.

FYI. I seen the eye cream or serum the site offers and will be considering that for my under eye wrinkles and dark circles.

Please advise any suggestions. Thanks

Answer:

Hi Char, first of all, we do not have the collagen cream in any of our kits. However, I will still answer your questions.

The Black soap can help control acne at some level, since the exfoliation / skin peeling process removed dead skin cells and excess dirt and oils. The arbutin ingredient will induce skin peeling without the need for physical micro-beads. Wrinkles and dark circles can be improved, but not as a long term solution. You need to use a separate eye cream and dark circles remedy. I guess you found our info about Arbonne eye cream.

Parabens and mineral oil are part of the ingredients and used in small amounts not to cause clogging of pores or unsafe levels. These ingredients are also used by first-class skin care products and if used in moderation is ok and allowed by the USFDA.

Skin lightening success does not rely on products alone. Proper use is the other part of the equation. As long as you follow the instructions properly, you'll be on your way to your desired goal.

Maria
