White dots on my legs and hands. Dark knuckle, arms and toes

by Angela
(Tanzania)

Hi Maria, I have been using skin lightening products which contained hydroquinone for a long period of time, I stopped and started using other lightening creams which most of them did not work.

For the past 4 months my skin got bad and started getting discoloration and I got white dots on my legs and hands, my feet and arms got darker, my knuckles got very very dark so did my toes as well.

I got a kojic acid product which I have been using now for the past 3 months and it seems to work, my white dots have completely faded on my hands and have reduced significantly on my legs, however my knuckles and toes are still very dark and I still have discoloration on my legs where some parts are lighter and smooth and some are darkish, the same on my face.

I never used to wear make up before but now I have to because my face's tone is not even. I also got a few pimple spots which I got at around August when i was changing creams a lot.

The problem is this Kojic acid cream is making my skin very sensitive although I am still using it since I still do not have the right product, it makes my skin itchy, redish and at times it swells.

I came across your site during my search for the best skin whitening products and chose The Diana Stalder Black Lightening Kit, Licorice soap for maintanance, Deo Roll-on for my inner thighs, armpits and but (will use it with the cream as well). I chose these because the Kojic product I am using now has given me the skin tone I want but still uneven as described above, so I wanted some thing that will keep my skin where it is now but more clear and even and since my skin is sensitive then I thought it is better to use the black lightening kit. Will it work for me?

Note: the climate where I leave is humid and hot (around 34 degrees centigrade everyday and mostly sunny

Answer:

Hi Angela, thank you for sharing your story. My hopes are as high as yours that the Diana Stalder skin whitening products will work for you, as your results will be unique depending on your skin sensitivity.

Rest your skin from the last skin whiteners you've used for at least 1 week before switching to Diana Stalder products. This is to allow the previous skin whitening ingredients to fade away so your skin will be more receptive to the new Diana Stalder skin lighteners.

Since your weather is hot and humid, make sure you wear a tleast SPF45 or higher sunscreen daily, especially between 9am-5pm.

Remember that thicker-skinned areas such as feet, knuckles, etc can take time to lighten. It is your patience and consistency that will be the key to successful skin lightening. :)

Thanks a million Maria, I really apreciate your advise and I will start Dermaline either way because Makari is very expensive. Yesterday (25th April) I started again after stopping for the full 3 weeks advised by Makari people.

I however been suffering from pimples and acne scars on my face, I never had any until last year August when I started having skin issues, even during my 3 weeks lightening break I still had them coming out one or two on a continuos basis making my cheeks and forehead have black acne scars. My nose and lips have white heads. I feel terible!

I Have been using The Body shop Sea wead face wash, Toner and exfoliator, it worked in the begining but does not seam to work now, I also apply Thanaka paste to control acne, again it used to work then I stopped I resumed but I see no effects either.

Will dermaline work to clear my skin as well as lighten it? Can I just use the soap and cream on both my face and body? I can buy the 500ml jar cream and save some money.

My skin is no longer sensitive as it got last year so i can use anything I guess

Thanks again Maria

Answer:

No problem, Angela. You're welcome. :)

You have used several skin products already. Hopefully, the Dermaline skin whitening products can clear up and exfoliate the problem skin layer for you. It's not guaranteed and you know that, because you have to try so you'll know how it will react with your skin type.

Remember, use once daily until you see the desired improvement, then maintenance is only 1-2x a week. Sunscreen and moisturizing will remain daily though.

Hope that helps.

White dots on my legs and hands. Dark knocles, arms and toes

Heey Maria,

I wrote to you end of last year, I had many issues with my skin. I did not purchase your skin whitening products because after a serious problem with my skin from whitening products I decided to stop and let my skin heal, today it is 13 days since I stopped applying *edited* whitening soap and beautifying whitening lotion and have not used any whitening product. *edited* products made my skin darker instead of lightening, they told me to stop everything for atleast 3 weeks before I start again to let my skin heal from the other whitening products that I used to use.

I also bought the *edited* dietary supplement - The Hair, Skin and Nails to speed up my healing process, the pills have Vitamin A (palmitate) 2,500i.u., Vit C (ascortic Acid) 50mg,Vit D 50mg, Vit E 50mg and other vitamins in lesser mgs.

I have been very much impressed by the Dermaline Papaya soap testimony on your blog from this girl who got like 4 or 5 shade lighter from this soap. I want to use it when I finish *edited* products because they are expensive I can't throw them away (I have like 3 bottles of Whitening Milk and like 4 soaps)

Sorry to bother you all this much but I really value your advise, do you think I can go back to using *edited* after 2 weeks of stopping whitening products? Or should I still wait until 3 weeks? My skin is getting dark and darker and I am running out of patience.

Then after *edited* stock runs out I start Dermaline skin whitening cream and papaya soap?

By the way my knuckles are now even, the white dots I used to have dissapered, but my feet are still very dark, like 3 shades darker than my legs.

Please please advise me, don't know what to do

Regards

Angela

PS: I want to start a cosmetics business and would like to stock your products, both Diana Stalder and Dermaline, do you sell on wholesale?

Answer:

Hi Angela, *edited* is right, and I would suggest the same for you. After your skin seems to stop lightening after you've used a certain bran dof skin whitening products before, your skin gets 'immune' to them. So what you do is stop for a few weeks and resume the regimen so your skin will start reacting anew to the same product. Use them since you still have some left and not waste your money. It might still work.

If it doesn't, then it's time to move on to another brand. Yes, try Dermaline skin whitening products this time.

If you want to be our reseller, email me and we can talk about it.
