what to do to lighten the hands

i use skin whitening products and everything is fine but my hands and feets are darker almost black how come? my dad is mixed and my mom is black but i have a natural light brown skin but my hands turned out to be darker than the natural color since i use the cream to even-tone my body color since the birth of my first child. what to do. THank you
