Hi Dee, if you are going to spend time under the sun, then it is not recommended to use skin lighteners, otherwise it can be futile or can darken skin more.
You see, during the lightening process, skin will peel and is sun sensitive. This means that newly exfoliated (peeled) skin will tan more considering it is fresh skin that has resurfaced.
Sun exposure should be avoided as much as possible if in a skin lightening regimen. Sun protection like sunscreen of at least SPF45 can control darkening if you need to do some chores outdoors. But swimming, outdoor sports or adventures can make skin lightening a waste of your hard-earned money.
If you decide to start the skin lightening regimen, for sensitive skin, I can suggest Diana Stalder Black Soap Whitening Kit. You can find this under "Skin Whitening Kits" on the lower part of the page.
