What do I do now?????????

by Diana
(UK)

Hello, I hope I do not bore you with my skin history but I was using *edited* 2% (prescribed by a dermatologist) - and they have now signed me off. To be honest, my dermatologist told me not to use ANYTHING (no creams or skin peels) except for sunblock.

I have lightened considerably - BUT as I am on HRT there are still some areas that have not brightened. Under my eyes are still dark, not as bad as there were. Upper lip pigmentation and melasma on both sides of my face.

On the Diana Stalder website they claim that the black soap is for sensitive skin. Let me know what you think.

Can recommend any products - such as the melasma lightening kit or surely white? Or do you think nothing would be suitable for my sensitive skin.

Also I was recommended *edited* cream and pink licorice soap. What do you think, Maria?

'The in house dermatologist of Diana Stalder only recommends the Licorice soap for sensitive skin.' This is from a potential seller on *edited**.

I guess what I am looking for is an honest opinion.

I look forward to your reply

Regards
Diana

Answer:

Hi Diana, don't worry about an honest opinion, because you'll always get one here. :)

The black soap is what I usually recommend for sensitive skin, and the licorice soap for very sensitive skin. The whitening lotion or cream is optional, and you can try it on the skin on the inner elbow overnight. If there's no irritation, then you'll be fine.

That's why we put up a Melasma Kit as a combination of Black Soap and Whitening Cream.

However, if you usually get red bumps or skin rashes when you use soaps, lotions and creams, then the licorice is your best bet.

Remember, your results will depend on your skin sensitivity. So whether you choose to try a different skin whitening formula, our Diana Stalder products, or something else, I hope you find the right one that can work well with your skin type. :)

Maria

Hope that gives you a better idea.
