What can I use to lighten my underarms and knees?

by Mehr
(India)

I have really dark underarms and knees. I need to know if there is anything I can use to get them to go back to their normal color? When I say dark I mean like crazy dark!!!

Answer:

Hi Mehr, the causes for dark underarms and knees are attributed to several factors - friction against clothing/skin/surfaces, dead skin buildup, dryness, aging, etc.

Your first step to preventing further darkening is to avoid any of the above that caused it. So let's now go to a suggested solution.

Another thing to remember is the underarms are thinner (gentler approach), while the knees are thicker-skinned (take longer to lighten). So try these -

Diana Stalder Glutathione Soap and Lightening Cream. Use the skin whitening soap and cream on dark knees, and the same whitening cream for dark underarms (you can also use the soap 2x a week here).

You may find the cream too small for your purpose, so feel free to get more than 1 piece.

Hope that helps.

Maria
