very fair skin with brown patches

hello, I have very fair skin, dry, acne and brown skin patch around my chin, smaller patch on the side of my face and eye. I wanted to know what sunscreen, lightening creme and moisturizer I should use. Should I use all three products? Also what would be a good foundation and powder that has very good coverage ? Thank you p.s. I'm over 40.

Answer:

Hello, here's some of my advice for what you need -

Sunscreen - choose one that's at least SPF30 and labeled 'broadband spectrum' to block both UVA and UVB rays.

Skin whitener - Diana Stalder Treatment for Melasma Kit to reduce or remove hyperpigmentation on face, and control acne as well. However, for the eye area, use the lightening cream only 2x a week only because this is very thin-skinned. Moisturize nightly with a rich eye cream to keep it hydrated at all times.

Moisturizer - any of your favorite brands that has worked well with your skin type. I like Aveeno in particular. Other good common brands are Oil of Olay, Revlon, Neutrogena, Eucerin.

Hope that's two cents' worth. :)

Maria
