Using only the skin lightening soaps still effective?

by Simone
(Texas)

Hi I am using the glutathione soap only and have been for a lil over a week now. I havent seen any results yet and ive been using it 1-2 times a day, which i understand if it may take more time. However the burning sensation stopped after about 3-4 days of use.. does that mean that the product is now ineffective? Also will i be able to use only the soap if i want to lighten my skin by 2 shades? Or will i need to buy the whitening cream as wel? Thanks in advance :]

Answer:

Hi Simone, use the glutathione soap once a day because it is a strong lightening soap. It's ok if you started 2x a day so use 1x a day from hereon.

Any individual skin lightening product can lighten skin or dark spots if used alone. The point in recommending use of the soap with lotion and/or cream is to hasten or enhance the results.

Continue to use glutathione soap. If you have peeled already, the lightening improvement may slowly be noticed, and the burning sensation will fade away. Make sure you wear at least SPF sunscreen because peeling skin is very sun sensitive and skin might get darker than before.

If you haven't peeled, it will soon. Your skin may have adjusted to the skin whitening ingredients that causes the sting to disappear.

Give it a week or two more and see if you'll see an improvement. If you feel you need to add a whitening cream, feel free to do so. :)
