Use on dark scars?

Hi, I have a number of healed scars on my face which have gone quite dark, I do sometimes 'refresh' the site with exfoliating as little hairs grow underneath the skin. But I am wondering if this is the actual cause of the skin going dark as it doesnt really get the chance to heal properly? It says on your website that use of the whitening cream will usually cause stinging or itching, but would it be wise to use it on 'broken' skin, even if it is ever so slightly?

Your advise please?

Answer:

Hello, skin whitening products should only be used on dry and healed dark spots. The peeling process can complicate skin problems if used on sore, reddish or irritated areas.

I would suggest that you see a dermatologist to check on your skin because unusual growth of hair on spots and slow healing may need some prescription treatment.

Good luck and take care.
