uneven skin tone

Hi maria, I don't know why this is but my skin tone is severly uneven, its like I've got a complexion of two different people. My chest, legs, arms and face are a really light caramel colour. Whereas my stomach, back and upper thighs are so much darker, more like the rapper 50 cent's colour. I've tried a couple of prdoucts but nothing seems to be working. I want to lighten my dark areas so my overall complexion will be the same. What would you recommend to solve my problem?
