UGLY MUSTACHE LOOKALIKE!!

I am 21 years old. 3 years ago I suffered from a bad eczema breakout where it started forming even on my face, forehead, and upper lip. I would scratch scratch scratch because obviously it itched like heck!

Well 3 years later, I still suffer from the image that looks like a mustache on my upper lip BUT THERE IS NO HAIR!! I am embarrassed when I go out because I feel like everybody can notice it. Even my husband is like GO SHAVE YOUR MUSTACHE in a joking matter or he'll say DID YOU EVER HAVE A MUSTACHE??..

No matter the joke I am so self conscious... should I go to a dermatologist and see what they say or is there something I can use over the counter that isnt expensive but will WORK to lighten or even PERMENANTLY fade this ugly dark mustache looking patch???

P.s- people always say oh my god you have beautiful skin... HOW CAN I HAVE BEAUTIFUL SKIN WITH A MUSTACHE LOOKING DARK PATCH ALL ALONG MY UPPER LIP???\

Please help me find something....please!! I am tired of looking like this!!

Hi Carol, since your eczema breakout was years ago, this upper lip discoloration can take time to lighten, probably more than 2-3 weeks.
