Trying To Reach My Original Shade

by Alexa
(Louisiana, USA)

Hello Maria! I'm am 18 years of age. I have never used sunscreen but once in my life and that was at a trip to Disney Land when I was around 8 years old.

Over the years of not being protected from the sun, I have gotten darker especially on my arms, face and neck.

I also have some pigmentation all over my body, especially on my back and butt.

I am a medium light brown color. There are light brown patches all over my body which is my original skin tone.

My lower legs is the lightest part of my body, besides the light patches and that is also my original skin tone, or so I think.

I have been using Diana Stalder Papaya Kojic Soap for only a few weeks on and off and I've seen great results on my arms and a few bug bites that have faded.

I am going to buy the creams, lotion and glutathione soap because I need something a little stronger.

I am confused about whether to buy the lightening or the whitening lotions/creams.

I am getting to my original color, or what I think is my original color, because there are patches that are light brown all over my body.

I assume the lightening lotion/cream will make me even toned, but will it make me light as a whole and bring out the light parts or should I eventually switch to the whitening cream/lotion?

Answer:

Hi Alexa, great to hear you're seeing an improvement. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Here's the major difference between the "Whitening" and "Lightening" cream or lotion by Diana STalder -

Whiteing Cream / Lotion - for whitening AND anti-aging; preferably for mature skin 30s and above.

Lightening Cream / Lotion - for whitening only; best for younger skin.

So you see, the Lightening Cream or Lotion fits you best. It can help you save on the cream or lotion if you apply them on damp skin (best after shower) to assure an even (and thinner) application which can avoid blotches.

Don't forget to wear at least SPF45 (or higher) sunscreen, otherwise, your whole regimen is futile. :-)

Maria
