thickening and darkening patches on my face and neck

Hi Dear, I just hope this will be my last resort and that I have finally found a solution. For the past two to three years, I have been having dark patches all over my neck and some parts of my face which makes me so unsightly.

I have used all sorts of lightening creams and soaps. At first when you start using it, it would seem as if it is clearing, then may be in the 3rd or 4th week, the skin will start darkening more and more. Now some parts of my face and neck are thickening.

My dear at times I look at myself in the mirror and cry. When going out, I always have a scarf around my neck. I do use sunscreens but gets upset and stop when I am not seeing any results.

I really want you to advise on what I can do or which of your skin whitening products you think can help me out.

Waiting anxiously to hear from you.

Answer:

Hello there, as I've emphasized in several posts, success in skin lightening does NOT rely on skin whitening products alone. It takes proper use and maintenance to achieve your goal.

Facial and neck skin are particularly thin and sensitive areas, and requires the correct care in lightening dark patches on skin. When skin gets thicker and darker, this means the skin has been over-exfoliated and became more sun sensitive - causing it to dry out, thicken, and darken in the process.

My dear, I feel your frustration, and nobody wants failure in taking care of our one and only skin when it affects our self-esteem. But you can try and do it all over again. :)

Let me suggest a solution for you -

Diana Stalder Black Soap and Lightening Cream

Since you have used skin whitening products before, you must be familiar with its normal side effects - some dryness, itching, peeling, stinging, redness - which are fine if used WITHIN your comfort level. You can skip a day or two if any one of these is a discomfort to you.

Results can vary between 1-4 weeks depending on your skin type. With daily use at the start, after you reach your desired results, this is the point when you start maintenance.

Maintenance will only require you to use the products 1-2x a week only. Sunscreen remains a MUST daily during AND after the skin lightening regimen. Skin whitening products can lighten skin, sunscreen will keep it THAT way.

Don't forget that moisturizing will also be a part of your routine. This is described in detail in the instruction sheet.

Don't despair. Even if our products do not work for you, you can try Dermaline Skin Whitening Products or continue your search for other brands. As long as you follow the right instructions and maintenance, I'm sure you'll do better this time. :)

Good luck and take care.

All the best,
Maria
