Some clarification re: skin lightening products

by Ana
(Australia)

Hi Maria, Here are my questions:
1. I recently bought Complete Whitening Set2,(2 days ago) and the instructions are not very clear on the step by step procedure.I understand that the cream/lotion products should be applied only at night time? and which should be applied first, the lotion or cream?

2. I use the Papaya Kojic soap for body wash, and the Black Licorice soap for face.Is that okey? Or should i use the Papaya soap first(for body and face) and use the Black soap on face after I peel?

3. In the morning, i dont use sunscreen, I use liquid make-up+face powder. Should I stop using liquid make up+powder when i peel and use the moisturizers and sunscreen instead? Im afraid i might look terrible as looks is vital in my line of work. will it still look ok without make up?

Thanks a lot!Looking forward to your help re my issues.

Answer:

Hi Ana, let me answer your questions as you numbered them:

1. The whitening lotion and cream are used on different parts of the body, as needed. It doesn't matter which is applied first, as long as it is used on the appropriate areas.
Whitening lotion - arms, legs, stomach, back
Whitening cream - face, neck, knees, elbows, underarms, inner thighs.

2. You can do either, whatever works best for your type of skin. Or if you have non-sensitive skin, try the papaya soap as an overall wash then black soap after skin has peeled.

3. You can still use your makeup after applying sunscreen, but when skin starts to peel, it is suggested to keep it minimal because peeling skin is sensitive skin. Don't worry, peeling is not as drastic as a glycolic or chemical peel, just like drying skin as a windburn. Keep your moisturizer handy in your purse and dab on drying skin as needed within the day if you're at work.

Hope that helps. :-)
