Skin Whitening with acne drug?

by Sarah
(Canada)

Hi Maria, I recently finished using the drug Accutane for my acne. It was a 6 month course. The medication stays in the body for a while.

Is it safe to use your product in my case? I know they don't allow laser hair removal for a year after using Accutane because there are increased chances of scarring.

Also, what are the most common side effects with your products?

Thanks!

Sarah

Answer:

Hi Sarah, unlike laser treatment, the skin whitening products do not induce drastic skin peeling during the process, so it is safe to use after accutane.

Normal side effects during the first stage of the skin lightening process are redness, skin peeling, itching, stinging. If at any time you're uncomfortable, simply reduce the usage of the products.
