skin whitening scars

by krystal
(ny)

I have been using a product called ***edited*** for some yrs now and i have developed some kind of scarring, like theirs loss of skin mostly in the folds of my skin such as in the creases near my underarm and my inner thigh area i was wondering if there was a way i could get rid of it?

Answer:

Hi Krystal, dark underarms and inner thighs are a little difficult to treat because these are constantly exposed to friction - rubbing against surrounding skin and clothing we wear daily. When skin starts to peel, it is actually more prone to skin darkening when again exposed to friction. This may be what happened to you.

Use with care, because you do not want to over-exfoliate thin and sensitive skin.

Try to wear loose clothing during the process, and apply whitening cream at bedtime when skin is at rest.

If this skin whitening cream has worked for you earlier, then it should work for you again. Rest your skin for a month from this product and resume thereafter. Apply at bedtime then when skin starts to lighten, reduce application to 2-3x a week only. Further reduce once you see more improvement. Maintenance is only 1x a week.

Hope that helps.
