Is Claire Blanche Glutathione Pills BFAD approved?

Hi Maria, I just wanted to know if the Claire Blanche Glutathione pills are BFAD approved. The reason why I am asking this is because I am currently taking it, and I don't want to get any side effects from it... To make it clear, I know that the Greenwhite pills are BFAD approved, but why isn't the Clair Blanche Glutathione pills approved? Doesn't the BFAD make sure that the product is safe and produced safely/ check if there is any metals on it? etcetcetc...Well, if you find the answer, please respond asap. Thanks a whole bunch.

Hi Peter, BFAD is Philippine-based and that's why Greenwhite, which is manufactured in the Philippines, has BFAD Approval LTO No. RD11-RIV-F-2911.

Claire Blanche, on the other hand, is made in USA, which falls under the USFDA jurisdiction. Glutathione pills are a food supplement and not a drug, therefore doesn’t require a Food and Drug Administration approval in US. It is listed in the USFDA’s GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) list of safe food supplements under specification 21CFR §184.1979c.

Please re-read the instruction sheet that came with your package as a guide for the proper dosage to achieve your goal.

Maintenance with the skin whitening pills is half the dosage or 4-5x a week intake, instead of the original 2x a day. Just like any other dietary supplements or vitamins, the effects are not permanent.

For very dry skin, a better choice would be Diana Stalder "Whitening" (not "Lightening") Lotion because it contains an added moisturizer. However, it is not as potent as the "Lightening" Lotion. Still, reinforce the regimen with your favorite moisturizer as well to alleviate further dryness of skin.

There are great moisturizers over the counter. My favorite is Eucerin here in the US.

But I'll tell you one secret to soft skin -

After every shower, slather a tablespoonful of extra virgin olive oil on your entire body (face is your discretion) before toweling off.

That habit can keep your skin soft and young for decades. Trust me. :)

The ingredients you mentioned are normally the same basic ingredients contained in Claire Blanche. It owuld only work as a skin lightener if you take it at a higher dosage (1000-200mg per day) with Vitamin C.

Hi Maria, today I received my second order for the CB Glutathione + Booster C and noticed that there is a difference in the color of the Glutathione Caps. The first order of Glutathione + booster C were the same color, a light to pale beige color. This Glutathione caps are dark sienna, a brownish red color. I have checked the expiration date which is 12/20012 and was wondering if heat in the process of delivery could have interacted and changed or darkened the color and or if it could also mean that the effectiveness and potency has been decreased. 3 questions about the Claire Blanche pills

Maria, I am a 22 year old male. I have light skin but my face has had a pinkish color that looks like a light sunburn for almost a year now that just wont seem to completely go away even though I have stayed out of the sun the entire time.

I ordered the Claire Blanche pills along with some Vit C that I will begin taking soon. I have read through these questions and I saw on one of them that there was a girl who had a similar problem to mine. You told her that this product isn't really designed to treat pink skin but my question to you is since the pills and Vit C are good for you is there any harm in me taking them? I have read about all of the good things they can do for your body so I still want to take them but I just want to make sure that it isn't going to somehow turn my face even more red??

Also, I only ordered the pills and I didn't order any lotion or soaps or anything because I have given up on rubbing things into my skin on my face and I think my face does better when it doesn't always have oil and lotions soaked into it, so can the pills + the vit c still be effective even without using the lotions and soaps?

I've been on a few websites and i wanted to know if you stop taking the pills will you go back to your old colour. These websites have given have suggested that if you stop taking the pills you won't go back to the old colour just as long as you keep taking your vitamin c. They did also suggest that once you have the colour you want , it is ideal to take one a day for mainatance, but if not use the vitamine c. I wanted to know how you feel about this.

I just received my product in the mail today (Claire' Blanche) and as you informed me, there was some information on how to use them based on the customer's intent. I am confused though because it has information about Claire' Blanche as well as Kyusoku Bihaku, but it seems you get better results from taking Kyusoku Bihaku instead based on the wording and description of both as it lists only under Kyusoku Bihaku the ability to lighten dark pigmentation/spots, etc. Could you please clarify the difference in these two products for me please? Is Kyusoku Bihaku faster at whitening than Claire' Blanche?

Bonjour Maria, I've heard so much about this glutathione pills and just like everyone else I want to have that healthy, pinkish glowing skin. So after about couple of months of researched and surfin the net about this pills I'm happy to inform you that I've finally decided to give it a try! Can't wait to start using it but before that I have a LOT of questions for you since I have a lot of problems :D ....so here it goes:

I know that for best results, as to whiten the skin I should take 2 x a day, separately, and with light snacks..my question is when is the best time to take it? and can I take it at anytime during the day or will it be more effective if I take it same time everyday?

And I just gave birth 3 months ago and I had a caesarean and currently taking birth control pills, I am not breast feeding though. It is listed in the USFDA’s GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) list of safe food supplements under specification 21CFR §184.1979c.

Claire Blanche contains 1000mg of Glutathione, and suggested dosage is 2x a day, together with 1000mg Vitamin C. Therefore, in a day, you'll be consuming 2000mg of Glutathione and 2000mg Vitamin C, which are both water soluble and any excess is excreted in the urine. So it's totally safe. :)

Hi Maria, how does this whitening pill actually work? According to some research, glutathione is poorly absorbed in the GI system because it is destroyed by stomach acids (It's a protein so it could be true). I have taken a whitening pill a few years back and I was really satisfied with the results. But let me explain how lightening of dark skin spots work.

Dark skin spots are categorized two ways:

• Those caused by skin trauma - dark scars, mosquito bites, knees, elbows, inner thighs, etc.
  
• Those hormonal in nature - melasma, age spots, dark acne scars, freckles, etc.

Correct way to take L-glutathione pill

Hi, Maria, I have been taking the L-glutathione since 25 Feb'09.I was wondering whether I had taken it correctly or not. I take 2x of L-glutathione + 1000mg Bio+C with empty stomach in the morning. The problem I was facing was I felt like throwing out everything after 1/2 hour, I couldn't bear with it and I took a cup of yogurt cum with the pills everyday. Will this affect the absorption of the pills to my body ?

Am I taking it correctly 2x at a time ?

Hello, you have sensitive stomach. You can take the L-Glutathione pills with a very light snack (cookie and juice, or yogurt is fine). Otherwise take it 2 hours after meals so you feel more comfortable.

Don't take the 2 dosages at one time, do one dosage (L-Glutathione pills + 1000mg Vit. C) in the morning, and another at bedtime. Taking them altogether at one time goes mostly go to waste because our body can only absorb a percentage at one time.

I've been paying attention on gluathione pills for long period of time. I know they are good for our bodies w/o side effects, but there are also articles that have dragged my eyeballs by stating that glutathione(even in reduced form)taken orally WILL NOT LIGHTEN SKIN COLOUR no matter taking VC or not,as it will be destroyed through our digesting system, and the maximum-possible amount of gluathione left would be less than 10%.

I've read most of the posts and am pretty sure this issue hasnt come up in questions before (or i may have missed it). It would be sooooooo greatful if you could give some opinion on this!Everybody wants to spend money on the blade dont we?

I have forever known this claim that glutathione skin whitening pills don't work. My only problem is, how come they do? And I have not seen a good answer from those who claim otherwise. And we have proof that the whitening pills work.

Results are NOT guaranteed, because glutathione pills are simply dietary supplements with effects depending on one's functional system and body condition.

Facts are proven by science, which keep on changing as technology improves. Maybe the answer lies in further research. I don't exactly know. But one thing I'm sure, we have various living proof on this site that skin whitening pills do work.

So I guess it's useless to insist to those who don't believe, don't you think?

Other thing, I have answered a few questions before that any dietary supplement, not just skin whitening pills for that matter, is NOT absorbed totally by the body, because the fact is our body can only absorb 10-20% of what we take. L-Glutathione is the reduced and absorbable form of Glutathione. If it's not L-Glutathione that you're taking, it will not be fully absorbed by the body.

In order to match Claire Blanche's contents, it is not enough to take L-Glutathione and Vitamin C capsules. If you check the ingredients of Claire Blanche, you'll notice it also contains Alpha Lipoic Acid, rosehips and grape seed extract. These altogether make up for the cumulative effect of skin whitening.

At least 1500-2000mg of L-Glutathione, 200mg Alpha Lipoic Acid, 2000mg Vitamin C, and additional rosehips and grape seed extract are recommended daily. The discomfort is taking them altogether in one dosage, done 2x a day.

If you can do that, I don't see any reason why you can't save. :)

Hi Maria, I am currently waiting for my order of claire blanche pills but im unable to purchase the Vitamin C booster because its not in my budget. While surfing the internet I found that Walgreens Pharmacy sells a caplet called "Finest Natural Timed Release Vitamin C with Rosehips 1000mg". May u please let me know if these vitamin c pills are acceptable to use along with claire blanche's glutat. Thankyou.

With this pill, is it absolutely mandatory that you take 1000mg supplement to see whitening results? Can you recieve this amount of vitamin c by eating a number of fruits or do I have to obtain it with a supplement? Please tell me what brand you recommend and how long/how many times I should take it.thank you.

Hello I am a woman of color and I always had uneven skintone I tried almost everything from the fair and white creams to the natural color creams and they didnt work ,to also the serums too.I mean you have to use them frequently day and night ,and ther was no improvement.My uneven skintone is on my foot,under my eyes,my stomach ,i have old scars on my legs,and my hands I also just want to boost up my color too.Its just so hard.I want to ask you will the bleaching pills work for me? Hi Sonya, skin lightening is no different from any other dietary supplement. Continuous use will give you long lasting results, while discontinued use will have its effects fade away as well.

With the skin whitening pills, maintenance is only 2-4x a week dosage. Not that costly at all. :)

I am very interested in the products and would like to know the following;
1) what is the different between White Glutathione and Claire' Blanche product? and which one gives a better result?
2) Claire' Blanche's pill already contain vitamin C, Do you recommend to take additional Vitamin C along with the pill?--If so, in what dosage you do recommend?
3) How can you tell by appearent if the Glutathione pill is fake or not? (--i heard that they say if the pill is fake, the liquid inside the pill would be clear vs yellowish color..or the color of the pill would be different--is that true?)

Hi Niki, to answer your questions -

1. White Glutathione has 700mg of glutathione content in it, Claire Blanche has 1000mg. The higher the glutathione content, the better your chances are to get a better skin lightening effect.

2. The Vitamin C content in each Claire Blanche pill is only 50mg. It is suggested to be taken with an additional 1000mg Vitamin C to work best.

3. Whitening pills do not have liquid in it. There are several factors to determine if the whitening pill is fake or not. We did not want to bother our valued customers about the technicalities we went through, that's why you are rest assured you can find genuine products on this site. If you're comfortable with buying from another source, researching about the seller very carefully would be your best bet in determining if he or she is selling authentic skin whitening products.

some need to know:
1. i have used the diane stalder products and have seen a good result in 2 weeks..so my skin does respond to lightening products pretty well...now i want to know if i can fast forward this result by using whitening pills?

1. The skin whitening pills work in a different way than the topical products (soap, lotion or cream) because the pills work from the inside out like dietary supplements. Most of our valued buyers do both because they love to see a faster improvement with the whitening soaps and cream while waiting for the effects of the pills to kick in. Debating on purchasing your skin whitening pills

Hi Maria, I'm contemplating on buying some of your whitening pills. However, I have a question...I am taking a vitamen supplement for my hair, my hair is thinning so I am taking this vitamen to help with hair loss and to help growth. If I take the whitening pills and my hair vitamens will it be safe? or will it not work because i am taking two different vitamen pills? Please let me know, thank you!

I know you say to take the whitening pills twice a day for best results,so would it work the same if I take two at once instead of seperately.

Hi Coleet, separate intake is best. If you take them altogether in one dosage, your body won't absorb more than half of it, therefore it is equivalent to wasting half of what you swallowed. Not all dietary supplements are absorbed 100% when taken into the stomach because the body can only absorb a portion at a time.
