Skin Whitening Pill FAQ
The Real Score on Glutathione

Learn the facts thru our Skin Whitening Pill FAQ section. It is where we address all your concerns and give you the solution.

How does Glutathione work?

Glutathione skin whitening pills inhibit the enzyme tyrosinase, which is responsible for the production of melanin, thus turning skin into a lighter tone. The process works from the inside dermal layer going to the epidermal (outer) skin layer. So you see, it does take time but the end results are rewarding.

How long do we see real results?

As always emphasized on this site, results will vary depending on one’s body metabolism and functional biological system. But generally speaking, you will see improvements on skin lightening and other health benefits based on the list below:

  • Light-medium brown skin: 1-3 months
  • Dark brown skin: 3-6 months
  • Very dark skin: 6-12 months
  • Black skin: 12-24 months and/or above
Glutathione is not a “beauty miracle” in a snap. It takes a bit of time to be absorbed in the body system, no different from other dietary supplements. You may first notice a skin makeover such as smoother skin, finer pores, clearing of acne, etc. You’ll love it!

What other side effects are there from taking Glutathione skin whitening pills?

Nothing more except lightening of the skin. As long as you take the genuine quality glutathione, these are safe to take even in high doses. Fake glutathione pills deliver the unpleasant side effects such as hair whitening and skin breakouts.

Any drug interactions?

Yes. Do not take glutathione skin whitening supplement if you’re taking anti-psychotic (Haloperidol) and chemotherapeutic (Cisplatin) drugs.

Are the results permanent?

No. If somebody tells you the results are permanent, that is silly. Common logic is, if it is permanent, you won't darker skin again. The very same factors that caused the problems will always be there, especially the sun. So after achieving the results that you want, maintenance is suggested by taking 1 capsule everyday. If skin whitening is one of your goals, don’t forget your sunscreen daily.

Other precautions?

Yes. Consult your doctor before taking glutathione supplements if:

  • you have diabetes.
  • you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Wait until you give birth or stop lactating.
  • you have just undergone a surgery.
  • you have thyroid-related illness(Hypo/Hyperthyroidism)

What is the correct dosage?

Dosage is computed as follows:

As ANTIOXIDANT/ANTI-AGING: 500-1000 mg/day if you weigh 50kg.
As SKIN WHITENER: 500-1000mg/day in 2-3 doses if you weigh 50 kg in 2-3 divided doses.

You MUST take with Vitamin C at least equal or twice the glutathione dosage per intake.

Adjust dosage according to your body weight. The above is ideally recommended for maximum and faster results. Opting to stay on a lower dose (but don’t go lower than 500mg per day) is ok if you’re not in a hurry to see results.

Take them 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.

Why is Vitamin C needed when taking glutathione?

Vitamin C will keep Glutathione in its absorbable or usable and reduced (L-Glutathione) form. Vitamin C also has derivatives of whitening properties which will work beautifully with glutathione.

How many shades lighter can I get?

On a general perspective, still depending on your body system characteristics, 1-3 shades will be manifested in the earlier stage. Long term use can result up to 5-6 shades lighter. The lightest you can get is what your skin will allow. In addition, your dosage intake is another important factor to consider.
Is it safe to take large doses of Glutathione and Vitamin C?

Yes! Glutathione and Vitamin C are water-soluble. There is no overdose of glutathione or Vitamin C because any excess is just excreted in the urine or bile.

Is it ok to use topical skin lighteners while taking Glutathione ills?

Yes. Topical skin lightening products give faster results while waiting for the effects of glutathione to kick in. This is best for optimum results.

Are both Kyusoku Bihaku and White Glutathione BFAD-approved?

Yes! Kyusoku Bihaku has two BFAD approvals for the two capsules in its set – Kyusoku Bihaku Japanese Glutathione plus NAC 500mg 30 capsules (BFAD FR#51169) and Vitamin C Rosehips 500mg 30 capsules (BFAD FR#63661).

White Glutathione is BFAD Registered FW-3720.

Claire' Blanche is not BFAD registered.

Kyusoku Bihaku, White Glutathione and Claire' Blanche are not drugs, they’re dietary supplements. Therefore doesn’t really require a Food and Drug Administration approval in the US. It is listed in the USFDA’s GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) list of safe food supplements under specification 21CFR §184.1979c.

Is it bad if I get exposed to the sun while taking Glutathione pills?

Overexposure is the problem, especially during the hours of 10am-3pm. It considerably delays the skin whitening process (but not the other helpful benefits). Again, wear your high SPF sunscreen daily.

What’s the youngest age who can take Glutathione skin whitening pills?

As a supplement, Glutathione is safe even for young teenagers starting at age 13. Although the age of 18 is considered mature enough to manage discipline for the success of the skin lightening process.

Can men also take Glutathione?

Absolutely.

Is Glutathione only advisable for skin whitening?

Definitely NOT. Glutathione, as the master and ultimate antioxidant ever known, flushes out body toxins and enhances the immune system as a health benefit, thus defending your body from a multitude of major diseases and illnesses on the cellular level. As a major skin improvement, glutathione will fight the aging process, acne and hyperpigmentations, which explains the skin whitening side effect.

Poor diet, pollution, various drugs and medicines, radiation, stress, injury, infection and aging are unavoidable. So even if you are healthy, we are still aging and deteriorating physically.

Glutathione is your answer – to enhance the quality of life.
