Skin whitening in the bikini area

(New York)

Hello, I am a 23 year old female who has a problem when it comes to hair removal in my bikini area. I don't usually shave, but I recently got married and my husband loves the feel of my bikini area when it is hairless, so I got a bikini wax and continued shaving since then.

However, since then I have had razor bumps and ingrown hairs that left my bikini area very dark and discolored with lots of black spot. It is so embarrassing!! I am an African American woman mixed with Indian and Chinese and my complexion is almost of a light honey shade (make-up shade).

I was just wondering if the use of the soap and lotion would be appropriate and safe for my bikini area. I was also wondering if it would help with the bumps.

If this soap is appropriate, which of the 3 would I get? Papaya, black or licorice?

Im so confused and willing to use anything because nothing else has worked so far. I am desperate!!!!

Yours Truly,
Desperate

Answer:

Hello Ms Desperate, since the bikini area is thin and sensitive, a mild skin lightening soap like the Black Soap, plus the Whitening Lotion, is more appropriate for your purpose.

If everything works well with your skin type, the skin whiteners will be able to lighten the dark spots, and also exfoliate the dark ingrown hairs.

However, you cannot wax during the skin lightening process because the skin would be exfoliating/peeling mildly. You can shave gently before rinsing the Black Soap lather (acting as the shaving foam) to remove hair. :)
