Shaving , workouts , scrubs , moisturizer

by SRK
(india)

Hello Maria , this is kumar from India , I started using DS glutathione soap , it's only been 2 days , I feel a bit stingy sensation on my face but it isn't so bad !

But I'm very much afraid to keep the razor on my face , even if I shave without any problem it ll surely burn like hell when I apply after shave lotion !

I do workouts(I sweat intensely ) , will that have any negative effect !?
Can I use scrubs (walnut, loofah) for face wash , and whenever it stings I apply moisturizer , is dat right ? Thank you for relplying !!

Answer:

Hi SRK, remember to use the skin whitening products within your comfort level ONLY. If at any time you're uncomfortable with the normal side effects - dryness, redness, itching, stinging, peeling - reduce usage to something you can comfortably handle.

Avoid products with acid or alcohol (like shaving toner), or bath towels, scrubs and loofahs because that does burn skin when it is peeling or exfoliating.

Sweating does not interfere with the skin lightening regimen, unless you just applied the whitening lotion and cream, then sweat profusely which technically washes off the product from skin. So do your exercise/sweating in the morning, and the skin lightening products at bedtime.

Feel free to use your favorite moisturizer as needed. It is ok. :)

Maria

Shaving
by: Srk

Thank u very much 4 such a kind and explanative reply , no wonder people from all parts of world likes u :) but i have one more question , im a sort of guy who shaves once in 2 or 3 days , how can i possibly apply after shave lotion if it stings ??

Answer:

Hi SRK, thank you for your kind compliment. I appreciate that a lot. :)

I'm just concerned that when you apply the aftershave lotion because especially during the peeling process when fresh skin has just exfoliated, it can sting uncomfortably and when skin burns, it can irritate skin and darken when healed.

I understand that the alcohol content in an aftershave lotion is meant to fight infection and inflammation of skin. If you can find one that is alcohol-free, that would be best.

Or you can try a mixture of milk and honey as a natural aftershave potion (use once mixed, do not store leftover) as a moisturizer and antiseptic in one.

Hope that helps!

Maria
