Sensitive skin

by Pamela
(London, UK)

Hi, firstly I have very sensitive skin on my face and salycilic acid irritates me. I get spots on the right hand side of my face and they scar all the time. I have been using **edited** products in the UK which state they are for black skins.

I have been using the soap, toner and creams since september and i still get spots and scarring. Please can you suggest what I can use which is not harsh that can fade the scarring and eliminate the spots.

Is it the dark acne scars kit? If not please let me know. Secondly I have dark marks on my toes and would like a strong cream to remove the marks where my shoes have rubbed on my toes.

Please help me out asap.
Thanks,
Miss PN

Answer:

Hi Pamela, the Acne Scar Lightening Kit is a good choice, but we can replace the Black Soap with Licorice Soap (the pink one) because of your very sensitive skin. Licorice soap is the mildest lightening soap we have, results will be slower, but will be safer for your type of skin. The Skin Lightening Toner and Cream can help enhance the results. Use once a day.

Soon as you decided to place the order, contact us and we'll take care of the soap replacement asap for you.

For dark toes, these are very thick-skinned areas that will take time to lighten. You can use the same cream in the kit and apply on the toes 2x a day.

However, avoid the same friction (rubbing shoes on toes) that caused the toes to darken to help achieve your results faster. :)

Hi again Maria, I just wanted to find out if the melasma kit has the same products in the acne scarring kit. Please let me know as there is someone selling them in the UK and they also said I can change the black soap for the licorice as you suggested. Thanks, Pamela.

Answer:

Hi Pamela, the Melasma Kit includes the Diana Stalder Whitening Cream, while the Acne Kit has the Lightening Cream with it.

The Diana Stalder licorice (pink) soap is not the same as Black Soap, as the Black Soap can target the dark spots better. However, if your skin is really sensitive, do use the Licorice Soap. :)

Hi Maria, thanks for your response to my frustration. Is that skin whitening kit also ok for oily skin because I also have that. Do you know roughly how long I will need to use it before I start seeing results? I know I will have to continue using the products to maintain my skin. And lastly I am black skinned so I hope it works. Please let me know and thanks again.

Answer:

Hi Pamela, you're welcome. Skin lightening is actually good for oily skin because it controls oiliness because of the mild peeling/exfoliation process.

A lightening improvement is normally seen between 1-4 weeks. Hope it works well for you. :)
