Reverse Skin Whitening

Hi there, I am a white woman (mid thirties) with an olive complexion (I am also a fellow SBI'er ;)). My problem is this: When I have picked and squeezed spots on my face in the past, it has left me with WHITE marks (scars) and not dark spots.

So, I am thinking that I need to lighten the rest of my face to blend in with the white scars that have been left so they aren't noticeable? I would like to know if this is possible please. I can cover them up with mineral powder cosmetics but I want to be able to go make up free and need to get this sorted.

So can you recommend any skin lightening products which kind of offer a reverse skin whitening effect? My guess is that I would need to lighten my whole face by around seven shades - I want a flawless complexion and would be eternally grateful if I could have an honest answer so I don't waste my money on products that do not work. I say this because while roaming the Net, I have filled in forms for free offers, only to then be told I have to also pay for another product to get my free sample which annoyed the heck out of me.

Hi Jules, as the product implies, skin whiteners can lighten the area of skin where it is applied to. It is possible that the white marks will not be significantly affected if these are already 7 shades lighter than your overall skin tone (assuming it is because you mentioned you wanted skin to lighten 7 shades).
