Question about your (skin lightening) products..
by Laila
(TN, USA)
Hi i used to have light skin when i was younger, as i grew up and my skin was exposed to the sun my skin got much darker, like 2 to 3 shades darker then before. I wanted to use your products but a friend of mine told me if you use any skin whitening formula that my skin will be sensitive to most of the things. Like i can not go to the kitchen to cool because the heat is very bad for whitened skin and stuff like that.. I was wondering if there is any truth to that.. I love to cook so i don't to stay from the kitchen. and also i wanted to discontinue usage of the product as soon as i reach my goal of whitened tone of skin color i want so is that okay as well..and lastly are all your skin care product safe? I know its lots of questions, am sorry, but i would really like to know before i start using it..
Thank you so much in advance..
Answer:
Hi Laila, your concern is totally understandable. Skin lightening is not instant. It's not easy, but it's also not complicated. It just takes a little 'TLC' for you to achieve your desired results. I'll tell you why.
Success in skin lightening does not depend on products alone, though quality in products count as a factor. Proper use is the other part of the equation. And it won't take out your love for cooking. I love to cook too!
Skin lightening / whitening / bleaching will involve skin peeling in order to remove the dark skin layers and resurface a lighter tone. When skin is peeling, it is heat- and sun-sensitive. Meaning, it is more prone to darkening if overexposed and unprotected. Unless you're broiling food which I consider is hot, cooking on the oven is fine. And when outdoors, a high SPF sunscreen (at least SPF45 or higher) is a MUST to prevent further darkening or sun damage.
Even without a skin lightening regimen, overexposing yourself to heat and the sun will still cause skin darkening plus premature wrinkling. The irony in this regimen is that users tend to be more protective against the damaging effects of the sun, which is all good for your skin in the long run.
Soon as you reach the desired results, you will need maintenance to keep the results lasting. Just like any other skin or hair care regimen such as skin tanning, hair dyeing, antiaging, moisturizing, etc.; you need to keep using the products to maintain the effects or to prevent the same problem from recurring.
During maintenance, you will only use the products minimally, thereby saving on costs significantly.
And for your last question, yes, our products are safe. These do NOT contain any hydroquinone, mercury or steroid in any of the ingredients.
Hope the foregoing addressed all your concerns. :-)
Maria
