Prequation in pregnancy for dull skin

by Rabbana
(India)

hi,i'm having six month pregnancy, my original complexion is fair but during these days my skin become dry and dull also my neck become black so i need solution.

Answer:

Hi Rabbana, hyperpigmentation during pregnancy is normal. Especially for fair-skinned women, it will be more obvious to notice dark spots on the skin folds - neck, underarms, inner thighs, face, etc. But usually, these fade away after giving birth.

I do not recommend using any skin lightening product during this period. The skin lightening process will involve skin peeling due to the acid-based products, which is not good for pregnant women. When skin is expanding, skin peeling is not a good match.

Besides, these might totally go away after you give birth. If some remain, that's the time to decide if you'd like to use skin whiteners to take care of the dark skin spots.

Right now, just enjoy the little bundle of joy inside you, and I'll be here to help you get rid of the hyperpigmentation later. :-)
