Potential Health Risks

by Shuyane
(Canada)

Hi Maria, I am looking into taking skin whitening pills. I was just wondering, though I know everyone reacts differently to different products, does taking glutathione pose any health risks after prolonged use? I mean, do we need to use the product continuosly over a long period of time to keep our 'new found' complexion, and if so, will this affect body functions such as one's hormone levels per say, or maybe cause premature aging of the skin? I read that people have also experienced ulcer like pain when consuming these pills without sufficient amount of vitamin c intake, why is this so? Is there really no ingredient in these pills that can cause harm other than side affects? Is taking whitening pills the same as bleaching your skin, cause bleaching sounds very chemical. What is a safer process?
Your advice and time will be greatly appreciated.

Answer:

Hi Shuyane, taking glutathione pills have no record of negative side effects. Long term use is actually advisable because of its overall body and skin health benefits. Glutathione is the master antioxidant of all time. Skin lightening is just the side effect, hence has been regarded as "skin whitening pills".

Even at 1000mg glutathione content per capsule, plus 1000mg Vitamin C, these are totally water soluble and the excess gets excreted in the urine.

The only precaution is to not take the skin whitening pills when pregnant or nursing (because of the sub-ingredient Alpha Lipoic Acid), or when one is taking anti-psychotic drugs.

The pills are suggested to be taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, morning and night. For some individuals who have sensitive stomach, taking the whitening pills before meals becomes a problem. They simply switch to taking them after meals.

Similar to any other dietary supplements, discontinued use can fade away its effects in the body after time. These skin whitening pills are not different. But maintenance would only require half or less than the original dosage just to keep the desired lightened results.

The lightening effect from taking skin whitening pills is a gradual process. If it works well for you, because of its powerful antioxidant benefits as well, your skin can get lighter and rosier with a glow.

hi maria do you sel glutathione IV,
and also one pill of claire blanche and c booster is that the recommended dose can i take it 3 times a day i am slim figured person in the range of 50-60kg.

Answer:

Hello, we don't carry glutathione IV because of FDA restrictions on importing them. It's too complicated. Only the skin whitening pills.

Yes, for every intake of Claire Blanche skin whitening pills, you also take 1 Booster-C. You can do this 3x a day for the first month to boost its foundation on your system faster, then do 2x a day for the months thereafter.
