Papain and Glutathione

by Belen
(Philippines)

Dear Ma'am/Sir, I've seen many skin whitening products in the market, mostly promises to make your skin whiter in a span of 2 weeks, other even 1 week.

1.How does it works
2.Is that possible? Getting a whiter skin in 1 week?
3.Does it mean that the product who promise to make my skin whiter in short period of time have maximum contents of papain or glutathione (if I will use soaps with papain or glutathione)?
4. What is the safe range endorsed/set by the USP/NF in using papain or glutathione in a soap?
5. Why do I experienced a little bit "sore" or "hapdi" on my first week of using a soap with papain or glutathione?

Hoping for your immediate response.

Thank you very much and more power?

Answer:

Hi Belen, skin whitening products in general can claim such because it may work for some skin types that results can be seen in 1 week. Yes, it is true, but not for all.

Some sellers openly claim that a skin whitener can work in 7 days which is misleading, because people might think it is guaranteed for them. Our Dermaline and Diana Stalder skin whitening products have that capacity, but we never make our valued customers fall on false hopes because it can frustrate them. We basically explain that each one's results will be unique to every individual.

How does it work? That depends on one's skin sensitivity, and the quality of what you buy. You'll only know after you try it.

Since skin peeling is part of the skin whitening process, the normal side effects will be dryness, itching, and that burning sensation. If it becomes uncomfortable, your skin is too sensitive for that skin whitener, so choose something thats milder, or lessen the usage within your comfort level only.
