One dark spot on my cheek, darker knees and elbows
by Maria
(USA)
I would like to get rid of one dark spot that is on my cheek and I just can't stand it!!! I am planning to become a mother so I don't think that the pills will be a choice for me at this time. I would also like to lighten my dark knees and elbows and a burn scar that I have in my back (it's not a queloid type). I always have taken very good care of my skin and I am 100% that you will suggest me what products should I order. Race: Hispanic, light brown skin (I actually get like two shades lighter during winter time). Thanks, Maria :-)
Answer:
Hi Maria, skin whitening pills, soap, lotion or cream are not recommended for pregnant women. Acid-based products are not good during child-bearing time.
For the pills, glutathione is safe but it's the Alpha Lipoic Acid that has not been proven safe during pregnancy. For the whitening soaps, lotion or cream, these contain active acid-based skin whiteners that induce skin renewal and exfoliation which can react negatively to the hormonal changes of a pregnant woman.
Otherwise, if you plan to get rid of the dark spots before you get pregnant, try Diana Stalder Lightening Cream. It can work for the dark spots on your cheek, knees and elbows. :)
