ochronosis
(New York)
Hi Maria, My name is Lili I moved to the Carribean as a toddler where I spent about six years of my life. While living there I was over expose to the sun, and became extremly extremly dark. When I came back to the the U.S, pre teen I was teased because of my color. Whenever seeing photos of myself as a little girl before going to the carribean, I looked like a completely different person, I was at lease three to four shades lighter and wanted to achieve that complexion as a young adult.
I began using various skin lightening products, of which I now know contained Steriods and Hydroqunione. After using these products for a while I achieved what I believed was a beautiful complexion.
Long before after, I started noticing red scars on my arms, legs and inner thighs, that eventually was stretch marks bad ones at that. My knuckles became thick and dark (Ochronosis). A terminology I saw while reading.
I eventually stopped using lightening products. The stretch marks began improving with years but not fast enough. My knuckles remained thick and dark.
What can I use that would help my dilemma a great deal, and provide lightening. Without me breaking the bank and then not seen the desired results. How do I reverse all the damage that I cause to my once flawless skin. HELP!!!!
Answer:
Hi Lili, although your pictures are too dark and vague, I could see the stretch marks you were talking about on the leg area caused by the harmful skin whitening ingredients.
But remember, whether you choose to try our skin whitening products or other brands, it is still a trial and error thing. You will see your own unique results after you try any one of them. So I hope you'll give our products a shot as well.
For the uneven skin tone and stretch marks on your arms, legs, inner thighs and knuckles, try Dermaline Papaya Soap and Whitening Lotion. Here's a suggested regimen -
For dark arms/legs - use the soap and lotion once a day. It can also help fade the stretch marks faster.
For dark inner thighs, use the lotion once a day at bedtime.
For dark knuckles, use soap and lotion 2x a day for 2 weeks, then once a day thereafter because these are thicker-skinned.
How's that for spending only for two skin whitening products for all four dark spots? :)
