number of treatments it takes to get rid of dark circles

by stephanie
(midwest)

I have an appointment with my derm. I will be asking him for a more aggresive alternative for dark circles. I just paid $150 for a tube of retina micro which did not work for me. I will be trying the bleaching method.

Is this something there is a prescription for, or will he need to do treatments in the office. If done in the office how many treatments will it take. I am medium complected and the dark circles are a result of being an outdoor enthusiest all my life. Im so ready to be rid of this. Thank you.

Answer:

Hi Stephanie, not sure if dermatologists have a prescription for dark circles under eyes, but there are several dark circles creams in the market that you can try. You just have to keep trying one after the other to see which one will work for your skin type. Give each 4-6 weeks before you switch to another brand. It's a long process, so be patient.

To answer your question, that will depend on what type of treatments you'll receive. Three or four might be an educated guess.

Hope I could be of further help.

Maria
