No skin peeling?
by TD
Hi, I've been using the Papaya soap for about 10 days now. The first time I used it I felt a little "burning" sensation which I expected. But, I haven't felt anything at all since then. I've increased my leave on time to about 5 minutes and still don't feel that sensation.. and I haven't peeled either... so I don't understand why I don't feel that same sensation/why I still haven't peeled.
The main reason I wanted to use the Papaya soap was because of it being a strong exfoliator. I have ingrown hairs from shaving my legs and thighs so I figured this would help with that.
Do you know when I should expect peeling? Because I did also order the Black Soap about a week ago so I figured by the time it got here, I would've started to peel already, but I haven't..
Oh and another question.. Is there a reason why I can't use exfoliating gloves while using the Papaya soap?
Thanks!
Answer:
Hi TD, if you're using moisturizers after the whitening products, try to skip it to induce skin peeling faster. You can also increase the leave on time to as long as you want before washing off. Based on your description, it seems you don't have sensitive skin so you can let it stay on skin longer.
Use of other exfoliators is not recommended (I know other merchants allow it but I don't) because of the skin peeling process. You see, peeling skin is fresh and sensitive to scratches so double exfoliation would seem like scrubbing soft resurfacing skin. This can result to irritation, soreness or red abrasions. You don't want that to happen, do you? :-)
