melasma

by Jane
(N.Y.)

I have melasma on one cheek and going up to my nose. I have tried IPL laser treatments and am planning on Q-Switch treatments in the fall. What is your opinion? I have tried *edited* for over a year, and use sunscreen. no results!

Answer:

Hi Jane, when you use skin lightening products or undergo laser treatments, pls remember that these don't mix and it is best not to try them at the same time. Scarring and darkening of skin can most probably occur and worsen your situation.

If you wish to switch from one treatment to another, give your skin a rest of 2-3 weeks before doing so.

Having said that, I can only recommend our own Melasma Kit, Diana Stalder DS Black Soap and 15gm Whitening Cream, for you to try. Hope it works better than the first one you tried. :)
