Is using Skin Lightening/Whitening for a long term bad?

by Chelzhi
(USA)

HI Maria, I was wondering if using skin lightening bad when used for a long term. Coz when you are lightening your skin i know it peels you skin..

so after i have reached the desired skin tone i want, and still use it for like every day? will it affect or any bad effect after a long term of use of it?

Thanks maria i know you always have an honest answer
thanks..

Answer:

Hi Chelzi, skin lightening can be safe if the products are used properly. It is overusing and the wrong ingredients that give skin whitening products a bad name. This is where skin over-peels and becomes more sun sensitive thus reversing the effects rather than lightening skin.

After you reach the desired results, switch to the mildest pink Licorice Soap for maintenance, use 2-3x a week, and/or the skin whitening lotion / cream for 1-2x a week. What remains daily in your regimen is the use of sunscreen and your favorite moisturizers.

Thank you for your kind compliment. It is what keeps me going. :)

Maria
