Ingredients of the skin whitening products

by Sue
(Austria)

Hello! I'm pretty excited to see this website, especially because you also included the details of the skin whitening ingredients in your products.

I'm a 25-year-old woman who lives in Austria and i've did a huge research about all of types of these skin bleaching/whitening/lightening products on the internet.

However, i was quite disappointed when i've read some comments from the doctors who say that there is no healthy way to lighten your skin because of the risk of skin cancer, irritations and possibilities of permanent skin damage. (especially on long term-use)

I've read that skin whitening is possible through the reduction of melanin production which usually protects our skin of the sun damage. That means if you try to stop this natural melanin production of the skin in any way you just increase the risk of cancer and it actually causes a "cellular damage" on the skin.

Is that only valid for products which contain hydroquinone, steroid, mercury and hydrogen peroxide ? (I've also heard about glycerine, but I don't think it's harmful; i'm not sure)

Does your products also NOT contain hydrogen peroxide or glycerine?

If not, i'm really interested in your skin whitening products and want to order some of them. Is it possible to ship them worldwide? (f.e Austria)

Thank you in advance.

Sue

Answer:

Hi Sue, boy, that was quite a homework you've done there. :)

The internet is full of information and open to significant differences of opinion between scientists and doctors. There is a reason why the FDA does not ban the sale of skin whitening products in the market - because even if these contain parabens, glycerine, mineral oil, etc - which research showed are harmful for skin - a good formulation only contains a limited approved amount for product stability and yes, consumer safety.

Our skin whitening products do not contain hydroquinone, mercury, steroid or hydrogen peroxide. But yes, a bit of glycerine because of its wonderful cleansing properties. The same ingredient in one of the skin industry's biggest cosmetic cleansing product - Neutrogena Glycerine Facial Wash.

Any and all products for consumption, if used excessively, can harm us. Did you know that even too much water in the body can kill us?

And did you know dermatologists, who are supposedly the medical professionals, are the ones prescribing hydroquinone to their patients/clients?

And did you know skin cancer is not mainly caused by skin whitening products?

How people use a skin whitener is where all this come from. Bad ingredients, and improper use make up for disaster.

Success, and failure, in skin lightening will NOT rely on the right products alone. The use of sunscreen, proper usage and maintenance make up for the other parts of the recipe.

Hope that gives you a better idea. I'll see you around. :)

Maria
