important question

Dear Maria, I am of tan-wheatish complexion and desire to achieve a shade or two lighter (the color i was when i was a baby). Because of acne and excess skin exposure, my skin over the years darkened and left minor acne blemishes. I am thinking about ordering the diane stalder glutathione soap but have some questions!
The description claims that gluatathione is the active ingrediant in the soap. However, from research I did over the net, I could not find any evidence from valid and trustable sources saying that glutathione is correlated with skin lightening.
So does that mean bleach is the main reason why this soap lightens skin?? In that case, I am hesitant to use bleach on my skin for I heard it is not good for skin. Please clarify. I really appreciate ur time to answer our questions, Maria!
Thank YOU!
Natasha
Answer:
Hi Natasha, if I would give you links on how glutathione is related to skin lightening, this page would not suffice. :)
We do not use strong skin bleachers in our ingredients, but our skin whitening products are potent compared to ordinary over-the counter skin whiteners.
Unless you have sensitive skin, the glutathione soap is kinda strong for your type of skin, and the Black Soap is more appropriate. Otherwise, you'll be fine.
