Hyperpigmentation Incontinence
by Silvia
(MD, USA)
My face and neck are turning black. I am hispanic/latina with kind of fair skin color (yellowish most of the time) and went to the dermatologist, he even made a skin biopsy and said that what I have is hyperpigmentation incontinence and doesn't know what caused it. He prescribed hydroquinone 4%...read about it here and I am even afraid to continue using it...so far hasn't made a big change to my skin (have been using it for 3 weeks now).
I ordered the black soap and the lightning cream as well as the deodorant...is there anything else you suggest me to get as a whitening treatment? Are these the right products for me? Hope you have the time to answer.

Answer:
Hi Silvia, our face and neck are two of the most sun exposed areas. Since your derma doctor didn't seem to find any disorder, your hyperpigmentation is simply cosmetic and is harmless.
If the hydroquinone-based cream didn't work for you, you ordered the right option and hopefully, this is the one that you're looking for.
If it fails you, feel free to come back here after 4 weeks so I can help you further. :)
