Hyperpigmentation, Botched Chemical Peel
by Maria
(New Jersey)
Hi. My name is Maria. I am 42 year old I am 1/2 Japanese and 1/2 German woman who is in search of a skin product that will work. I used to have beautiful olive complexion........until I began my many years worshipping the sun and plastic surgeons. I used to be the bronzed beauty at the beach, and would get many compliments on my "beautiful tan". This did not last long. By the time I was 30, I developed freckles and hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and upper lip. I consulted with a plastic surgeon who agreed to do a laser treatment on my face. This left my left cheek with permanen scars. I then consulted a dermatologist. He suggested a chemical peel. This was a total disaster. He left the solution on my face too long and I had a 3rd degree burn.... Now on top of scars I had already from the laser treatment, I have chemical burns on my face. The chemical peel also left noticeable white blotches on my face. I am desperate to try to have "normal" skin again. I am growing tired of putting 5 layers of make up on and wasting hundreds of dollars on products that do not work. I will check back in with results.
Thank you.
Answer:
Hi Maria, so sorry for the late reply because we just came (May 25) from a 2-month long business trip. We have been busy for the past few days shipping all pending orders.
Thank you for your post. I understand your frustration so let me help you with your concerns. I felt so bad for you after telling me your dermatologist burned your skin with the chemical peel. That was really awful.
Early protection from sun damage is the best defense for hyperpigmentation. Premature wrinkling, freckling, skin cancer, sunburn, are all associated with too much (or regular) sun exposure. Whether one is in a skin lightening regimen or not, sunscreen should always be a part of our skin care routine.
And I understand that you're looking for skin lightening products that WILL work for you.
I do not want to lie to you and give you false promises. But I can give you hope. :)
There is no guarantee that any of our products WILL work for you. But it CAN. This will depend on how your unique skin type and sensitivity will react to the product. We can't both determine that unless you try our skin whiteners.
I would suggest the Diana Stalder Glutathione & Licorice Soap Whitening Kit (under "Skin Whitening Kits below the page) and use as directed on the instruction sheet that will come with the package.
You will also need your moisturizers to keep your skin hydrated (anti-aging creams for skin at 40s) because skin lightening will also involve skin peeling, although NOT as drastic, and burning, as a chemical peel.
And of course, sunscreen, of at least SPF 45.
You can post follow up questions below this page on the "Comments" link so we could both establish a history of your condition and monitor your progress, if you decide to give our products a try.
Take care, Maria
