how to lighten genetically dark upper lip

Hi Maria, I was born with a very dark upper lip that is so noticeable since my lower lip is contrastingly pale. It has always been my problem since i can't wear lipstick all day long. What treatment can you give me?

Hello, topical skin lightening creams can only treat epidermal pigmentation. However, feel free to try any skin whitening cream (3-4x a week only) as it might at least improve the discoloration.
