How to have a clear and fair face?

Hello, I am 19 years old. I have pimples on my chin and some on my forehead and that make my skin look dull and dark. Many pimples have left their dark marks on my chin. I am unable to know if my skin is oily or dry. My nose is oily but my other parts of my face is dry. I usually don't try any new skin whitening product without my knowledge on the product.

Can you please suggest me how to a have fair and glowing skin and avoid pimples and their marks.
