How to get rid of dark underarms & groin area.

by naz
(south africa)

Hi i am from South Africa and have come across your website and find it quite informative. You give pro's and con's where other websites just wants to sell.

Here's my question.

I am of brown skin tone. Have dark underarms and groin area. I want to lighten these areas and found that over time it just doesn't go away. I was diagnosed with hypertension in my last pregnancy and still on chronic meds for this condition.

i want to know what skin whitening products would you recommend I use. and what should I use to maintain this.

I often sweat alot especially in the areas mentioned above.

I am very embarassed to go to my family doctor to discuss this.

Please help!

Answer:

Hi Naz, I appreciate your kind compliment on our site. Now let me help you with your questions -

Dark underarms and especially, dark inner thighs are the body's dark spots which are not that easy to lighten. Why? Because even during the lightening process, the skin undergoes friction which causes these areas to darken. Especially when skin is peeling, and the individual is not careful with lessening the friction, the skin can actually become darker than before.

So here's how to avoid that to happen -

When skin starts to peel, lessen the usage of the skin whitening products from daily to 2-3x a week, until you reach the desired results.

Use with care, because we do not want to over-exfoliate or over-peel thin and sensitive skin.

Do NOT apply any skin lightener if skin is reddish (normal side effect). Skip a day or two if necessary.

Try to wear loose clothing during the process and bedtime application is suggested because skin is at rest, and sweats the least.

Lightening dark underarms and inner thighs can take time. Be patient and consistent. You'll get there.

Finally, the recommended product is Underarm Whitening Solution which is the same treatment for dark inner thighs.

Hope that helps. :)

Maria
