How do i do it?

by affie
(Canada)

Hello maria, first of all I would like to thank you for such an informative web site. Almost all my questions are answered here but since skin lightening is so individual, I would like to explain my dilemma.

I am a dark skinned African. I have been initially using hydroquinone with steroidal based cream combos for some time. Yes I know...very dangerous stuff. I wanted to stop that after researching the harmfullness and also the results were sketchy. I ended up with hyperpigmentation of hands and feet. I then found soaps and a gluta cream worked well for me. I tried both the kojic/gluta blend and gluta soap alone. The Kojic burned my face and I was sensitive. Overall..the results were good. My hands and feet although remain dark and the cream is too expensive for the entire body usage.

My question to you now is
1) what combo do you suggest in terms of lighteneing my difficult to lighten areas. Would you say that Kojic saop and lotion is better for the body in terms of lightening or should I stick with gluta??? You dont sell gluta cream though.

2)Also...what is the difference between the skin whitening and the lighteneing creams and lotions. I have read great reviews about stalder products from other blacks and that is why i want to switch. I am excited but as with skin...I am cautious.

What do you overall recommend for me to have that nice overall beautiful honey coulored skin that we blacks cherish soooo much??? Thanks Tita......Hope to hear from you soon!!

Answer:

Hi Affie, let me address your questions -

1) If you found the right skin whitening products that worked well for your type of skin, stick to it. You can use the kojic soap for dark hands and feet because these are thick-skinned and can handle the potency of the kojic soap. Then apply your favorite whitening cream. Do this 2x a day for these stubborn areas. It will take time, so be patient. The whitening lotion is for the rest of the body that you wish to lighten.

2. Whitening Lotion/Cream – for whitening with anti-aging ingredient; best for overall whitening/lightening of skin.
Lightening Lotion/Cream – for whitening with stronger potency than the Whitening Lotion/Cream to target small dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

As to your other question about other sellers (sorry I edited for obvious reason), we, merchants have our own unique business and marketing strategies, and goals. How each want to reach to their customers mostly determine business expenses that affect product costs. Since customer service is our main goal, we still try to keep our prices competitive and keep our valued buyers smiling even after the sale.

I know how important beauty is for an individual, and we all have our own personal and cultural preferences and differences. And that is what this site is all about. :)

Maria

Good question
by: Jan

Good question, I was confused about which product line was best, which soap was best and how often to use them. I learn more as I read.
