Health Risks of skin whitening

by Bri
(California)

Hi Maria,is there any kind of health risks like cancer or something from using any of the soaps (specifically the Glutathione Soap if any can you tell me? Can I use the Glutathione Soap to lightening the pubic and buttocks area if not what can I use?

Answer:

Hi Bri, any skin care products is at risk, small or big, if misused or overused. The key to successful skin lightening is proper use of the products and minimal sun exposure. During the skin lightening process, skin is more sun sensitive because of the peeling process.

Ironically, skin cancer during a skin lightening process is actually remote because users tend to avoid the sun more vigilantly than before. This is good because the UVB and UVA rays in this era is more damaging than before.

Other than that, there are no other known risks for skin whitening UNLESS you use products with hydroquinone, mercury or steroid. Now that can be serious.

Our skin whiteners are safe, and yes, you can use the glutathione soap to lighten other dark spots as well. :)

Breaking out badly
by: Linda

Hello Maria! I have been using the orange Kojic soap for about 3 months now. I was so happy and satisfied because of my skin turning more fair. However, there seems to be a problem.....I am breaking out on my chin and nose. I also had my daughter using is and she's breaking out like crazy on her forehead and on her chin as well.

What are we doing wrong? Should we stop using the Kojic soap? Why are we breaking out after 3 months of good results? Are we using it too much and we're stripping our skin of the good stuff? Please help us.
