Headache

by John
(USA)

I get headache when taking glutathione 500 mg and vitamin c 1000 mg twice a day, is this normal? Jarrows brand glutathione i pick up from vitamin store.

are there any differences?

Answer:

Hi John, are you sure you're taking the reduced form of glutathione (L-Glutathione)? L-Glutathione has no record of any ill effects.

That is the difference.

Reduced Glutathione
by: Anonymous

Hi Maria, Thank you very much for your responce.

The glutathione i take it says reduced in the bottle with no L and its a Jarrow brand, is this the right one?

Answer:

Hi, it seems to be the reduced form. Maybe you are reacting to one of its ingredients. Try to skip for a few days and see if your headache will pass.

If you determine that it is Jarrow that is causing the headache, discontinue taking it. Your body metabolism does not react positively to the product.

If you really want to take L-Glutathione, try another brand. If it still causes a headache, then glutathione, or its active components, is not for you.
