Glutathione during pregnancy

by Angel
(Dubai, UAE)

hi maria, after going through ur site i feel a sense of trust to order glutathione from u. i had used a bottle of lucida-ds earlier but with no significant skin lightening. now this brand is discontinued i believe. at the moment i am 2 months pregnant and am considering to use glutathione.... can u pls let me know if it is safe to take glutathione during pregnany and if so what would be the dosage.

Hope to hearing from u soon.

Angel

Answer:

Hi Angel, firstly, congratulations on having a new baby. You must be proud. As for glutathione pills during pregnancy, it should be ok. However, the Alpha Lipoic Acid content (which is necessary to boost the skin whitening effect) in the pills is not recommended for pregnant women. Any acid-based supplement or product can affect the child-bearing period. I suggest that you wait until you give birth before taking the pills.

Lucida-DS is discontinued because of questionable glutathione content. Our Claire Blanche pills are our best seller and has shown to give the most positive results based on customer reviews.

I look forward to serving your skin lightening needs soon. :-)

by: kauthar

Hi Maria
thank u for your advice..actually I stoles using those pills for a while now. I need your advice on this :I am starting to have pimples and spots on my face which skin whitening cream can I use to help me get over that and my colour starts to fade since I have been using glutathion to brighten my skin.

Answer:

Hi Kauthar, for dark spots on face caused by pimples, try Dermaline Black Soap and Skin Whitening Cream. Use once a day and wear sunscreen diligently. And for best results, read the accompanying instruction sheet well.

Again, you're welcome. :)

is lipoic acid good for pregnant woman?
by: kauthar

Hi angel, I think I got confused here.in one of the website where I used to buy glutathione products they say its ok to take those pills especially the ones with alpha lipolic acid because its good for the fetus and brain of the Bby.iam one month pregnant and i still take them pills.

Answer:

Hi Kauthar, it is best to consult your doctor. As far as I know, any oral vitamins containing acid should be advised by your medical professional if you're pregnant.

hi maria,

i am really impressed with ur quick response, it really shows the dedication u have for ur site and the consideration for ur visitors. is it possible that i take glutathione tablts in lower dosage, like 500g per day, alongwith vitamin c?

thank u so much in adance maria :)

Angel

Answer:

Thank you, Angel, for your kind compliment. But no, sweetie, you still can't take glutathione pills even in a lower dosage. Vitamin C, yes. You can start the Vitamin C regimen to build its foundation in your system until you're ready to take glutathione after giving birth.

And you're welcome. :-)
