Feeling absolutely helpless (dark scars)

by Sarah

I am bi racial, half white and black. I am pretty light skinned and I have dark scars all over my face from acne, and I am continuing to break out. My face is already lighter than the rest of my body and I was just wondering if the lotions would lighten it even more,or justl lighten the dark spots only? Because I just want the dark spots gone, not an even lighter skin tone.

Answer:

Hi Sarah, lightening of the surrounding skin cannot be avoided when you apply a skin lightening product. This would not be drastic anyway, because the whitening cream can target the dark spots too. Most of the time, acne is also controlled because of the peeling/exfoliation process of skin lightening. Soon as you reach the desired result, your skin will get back to its original skin tone...

Minus the dark scars. :-)
