Differin and Glutathione

by Anonymous

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to answer this! I am currently using Differin 0.3% gel nightly and Duac gel for spot acne breakouts. I am considering using the Glutathione soap, Diana Stalder (DS) whitening toner, and the DS surely white whitening cream. i have been on differin and duac for about a year. do i need to stop using them while i'm on the DS products? should i stop using them for a given amount of time and then start the DS products? Thank you.

Answer:

Hello, yes you have to stop the acne treatment and rest the skin for 2 weeks before starting a skin lightening regimen. This is because both are exfoliating products and might irritate your skin.

Skin lighteners induce skin peeling and can as well remove dead skin cells, excess dirt and oils that at some level, can control acne too.
