darker skin

I started using the skin lightening cream and I notice that my skin got much darker. I alway use sun screen 50 by neutrogena. Why is my skin so much darker?. should I discontinue?

Hi Sandy, skin getting 'darker' can be attributed to 2 factors -

1. either you're in the early stage of the lightening process before skin peeling, so drying skin tends to look 'ashy';

2. or sun exposure is more than what your sunscreen can block. Remember, sunscreen can only control, not block, skin darkening. And you should wear sunblock 30 mins before sun exposure.
