Hello, I have a serious problem considering my dark underarms. The whole thing started on my friend's birthday I got back from school and i had to remove the underarms' hair so i removed it using Braun hair remover. I took a shower then i used the deodrant i know that this was the wrong thing i did anyway.. after a week my underarms felt like scratching then i realised that there was some sort of a white thin layer covering some parts of my underarms i used alchohol and almond oil to remove it it had gone but the problem is that my underarms turned black now! ='(
i've read in many sites that using baking soda is good for whitening the underarms so i've used it only one time and have only seen a slight change
summer time is really near and am really embarrased of the look so will u plz give me some advice and do u really think that baking soda is good? I appreciate you help
Answer:
Hi Malak, baking soda can only exfoliate skin's dead skin cells and remove odor. But as far as lightening dark underarms is concerned, it won't totally solve it.
Alcohol burned your skin that caused the pigmentation, because you applied it on irritated skin.
Let the skin heal first from any redness. If it is dry and brown or grayish, it is safe to apply a skin whitening cream. You can try any of our whitening creams for that purpose. Apply once a day, preferably at bedtime.
Hope this helps.
