a picture of my feet, but the skin that you see around my toes..it is much much darker than what it appears in the pic.

I noticed a similar question that was asked by a viewer. However her feet dont look at bad as mine. So i want to know if what product should i use for my toes?

The main issue is that the skin is literally blackened..i dont know from what..every doctor ive seen has told me its naturally like that because i am from an Indian origin. But the truth of the matter is that my toes have become this way just in the past 5-6 years. Also, the area of the darkened skin is quite hard. I mean if i put cream on my feet, all areas become soft and moist except the dark area. I am soo embarassed with my feet that i dont wear flip flops or sandals in the summer! Anyways..so please tell me how to get rid of those dark spots on my feet. I'd really appreciate that. Thank you!

Answer:

Hi Deshmuk3, dark toes are mostly caused by friction from closed shoes - constant rubbing against rough surfaces. In the years that passed, this has aggravated your condition.

Try any of our whitening creams and apply 2x a day. A little help from a whitening soap (Diana Stalder Glutathione or Papaya Soap) can help hasten results.

Remember, these are thick-skinned areas that will require some patience from you. Be consistent.

Dark skin around my toe
by: Anonymous

The skin around my toe has become black and hard and i dont know why.it is really embarrassing and i dont wear sandals due to this.are there any home remedies that i can use in order to get rid of it? I will really appreciate your advice.

Answer:

Hello, you have 2 options -

1. Dermaline skin whitening cream (you will need at least 2 jars for this thick area of skin), and see results in a few weeks.
2. and homemade skin bleach ideas, which can take more time to show results because these are not exactly formulated by laboratories to work faster.

dark streak on my toe nail
by: roy

I have a dark streak on my second toe and my little/baby toe is complete black I'm a Black male what should I do?

Answer:

Hi Roy, you need to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize toes which are thick areas of skin. Hydration prevents dryness which is one of the causes of dark spots on skin.

A good skin whitening cream can also help remove the discoloration in a few weeks or more. Use once a day. Remember, be patient and consistent.

Black spots on right toe
by: Anonymous

Hi I've got a problem with my right toe recently I've noticed dark appearing on the toe skin and now its starting to turn hard and a little sensitive. I've always worn shoes and don't remember injuring my foot so not sure what it is or what I can do, can anyone help??

Answer:

Hello, it's due to friction that causes your toe to darken. Daily rubbing against shoe wear, worse if they're tight on skin), can make skin dry, hard, thicker-skinned and hard.

All you have to do is avoid the same factor that caused it, and eventually, the problem should go away. This can take a month, or two or even more, depending on the depth of the discoloration. Applying a rich moisturizing foot cream on the affected toe can also help break down the hard skin to hasten the results.

Good luck,
Maria

Hello, that sounds like some stubborn dark spots on skin. And we have the perfect skin lightening solution you can try - Dermaline Papaya Soap and Body Lightening Lotion. Your suggested regimen:

1. Use the skin whitening soap and lotion once a day at bedtime.
2. Moisturize always with a rich foot cream to keep skin hydrated. Feet are always prone to dryness and moisturizing can also help skin stay bright and smooth.

Probably The Same Way /:
by: Anonymous

Well i don't know about toes but on your knees, some people gts dark spots there and you just use lemon juice to get rid of that so it's probably the same way with dark spots on ur toes.

My suggestions:
by: NC girl

I have the same problem as everyome else on this page. I have been to several Dr's that are specialist and they suggest skin whiting. I have used the whiting product, but I did not get good results. Recently, I decided to do an exfoliating of my big toes 2 times weekly. I use exfoliating cream from Sally's,and a pumice stone. I soak for ten minutes with hot to warm water, while updating FB, apply the lotion to my big toes thickly, and leave for 5 minutes. Then, I scrub with Pumice..this hurts a little, but I continue to apply pressure and rub. I have noticed a significant difference in just a couple of weeks. Knuckels are not as dry and hard or dark as they were. Also, I drench that area with an thick cream such as vitamen E ointment (Walmart) nightly. My fiance has noticed a big difference, so that makes me happy! :)

its been so long i try this and that but nothin worked.i am a school-going girl of 16.i have to wear shoes at any cost.please do help me. i badly wanted to wear sandals.

Answer:

Hi Anu, our feet has less oil and prone to dryness. You have young skin and should remember that moisturizing feet with a rich foot cream at the end of the day can help reduce and prevent dark feet. Applying a body lightening lotion can also eliminate the discoloration faster.

Open toe shoes
by: prettyfeet32

To all of you who are sick and tired of wasting your time and money on products that doesn't work?Well you can stop l@@king!...I'm 32 and been suffering from dark toe snydrome since I
was a child and like many other have tried just about everything.I have been trying a home remedy for almost a month now that may be the Michael Jordan of all treatmens. Try this it may work for you as well:
Cleanse feet twice daily with oatmeal soap or moisturizer soap. Next exfoliate with brown sugar and 100% lemon juice or 100% lemon juice and backing soda soaking toes for about 10 to 15 mintutes to remove skin build up. Feel free to use a pumice stone or scrub sponge to help with the dirt and skin removal. Rinse off then apply cocoa butter skin therapy oil or almond oil after each treatment twice daily. Last but not least never wear shoes that may rub against the top of your toes or worse cause discomfort. It may or may not take long to see results. Results may very! Good luck!

Black spots on toes help me please!
by: Anonymous

Okay I'm glad im not the only one to have those black spots on my toes i've having them sense i was a little girl now i'm 16 and i'm embarrast to wear sandals i've trying lemon juice they kind went away bt i exposed myself to the sun by accident now they're back again. Some Please help ME PRONTO! I WOULD LOVE TO WEAR SANDALS IS SUMMER. HELP. THANK YOU.

Answer:

Hello, if lemon worked for you before, I suggest you continue with it but be aware that lemon can make skin more sun sensitive. Before you go outdoors, make sure that the lemon juice has been washed off from skin and wear sunscreen for better protection. That way, re-darkening of skin won;t happen again. :)

Finally working

I've been exfoliating those parts with a foot exfoliator you have to be gentle so that you dont exfoliate too much or cause bleeding.I have been using one I bought from the dollar tree that works wonders it takes the right amount of harsh skin off without too much work.I have been lightning them with skin whitening cream because I want to try lemon juice with a cotton ball next after I get more excess skin.I noticed after exfoliating that area besides under my feet as well they have become softer areas.I also apply creams and sometimes at night after scrubbing lightly I use vicks vapor rub at night and put socks over my feet and in the morning after my bath my feet are getting softer.I used to have darker areas in the knuckles of my toes and other areas of my feet but since doing those various things my feet are improving.

dark spots on toes
by: Anonymous

I have dark spots on top of my toes. I have experienced this problem since a child.I'am now an adult.I'm embarassed of my feet and unable to wear sandals. Please help!SILICA

Answer:

Hi Silica, toes are thick-skinned so you have to be patient in applying skin whitening creams on them. Try Dermaline skin whitening cream and apply 2x a day. Try to wear loose-fitting shoes to avoid friction and further darkening of toes. Just be consistent even if takes months. At least, you're doing something about them now. :)
