Hi maria, I'm Cheryl i have been seeing a 2 dermatologist for almost 2&half years but keep me transferring to another dermatologist. They give me different of medicines and creams but no effect. My problem started after i give birth to my 2nd child my skin went wrong. My skin become itchy and i cant help of scratching it and now it leave a nasty red to brown dark spots not only in my legs it goes up in my butt area and in my shoulder. I feel so embarrassed while looking at myself in the mirror or going swimming with friends i cant even wear a shorts and im just on the side watching them i envy them for having such wonderful legs not like mine. I try using DR BELO whitening lotion and bar soap but doesn't work.
Please help and tell me whats best for my skin so i can buy and try it right away...I'm so desperate.

Hi Cheryl, your pigmentation may be caused by either skin trauma (scratches) or hormonal/dermal which is beyond skin deep. I can suggest two solutions to target both -

1. Topical - papaya kojic acid soap, black licorice soap, dermaline skin whitening cream or lotion. Use the papaya soap as body wash and use until skin peels. After skin peels, use the black soap thereafter, which has better bleaching effect on peeled skin. After every soap wash, apply the whitening cream (more potent) or lotion. hi i am 27yrs old i have dark spots all my life over 80% of my body and it only got worse when i had kids the itching comes and goes and when i do itch it leaves sores and when it do start to heal it gets even darker can u plz help i don't know where to turn oh and i live in trinidad are skin whitening products sold here?

Hello, you might be itching because of dry skin, so you have to moisturize to hydrate skin. If there is another cause for itching, I suggest you have to address this first before indulging in a skin lightening regimen.

Hello, please i urgently need your help, I am 23 years old, I have dark spots and scars on my body, they've been there since i was young (5-7yrs). I had some skin rash then and the scar on my chest was a result of hot water. Hello, I have dark spots on my legs from which the doctor said, i had impetigo. I just started using coco butter but, its summer time and I cant wear the shorts i bought!!! ugh, I was wondering was there ANYTHING that I could use to get my skin color back...if so , please let me know.

Hey:)
Im 17 years old. I have some dark spots on my legs but all over my legs are just dark! my skin is turning darker.. i used to get like big pimples? with pus in it, it HURTS ALLOT.. i dont know what's the name for it in english but where i live they call it "blufein" i stopped getting them but where i got them is all dark it just wont got away and i only got them on my legs and thighs..

and i dont go often in the sun i always wear long jeans so i dont think it's the sun.. i went to a dermatologist in Venezuela ( im from Aruba) and the dermatologist told me that it's because i shave.. after that i stopped shaving for like 3 months or so,(eitherway i dont wear anything short so to me it didnt matter at that moment that i stopped shaving im more embarresed of the spots..)

but the spots just didnt go away.. I've used sevral lotions that the dermatologist gave me and a soap.. and i've just 2 more diffrent soaps but it they didnt give any results it just made my legs itch more.. i also used an antibiotic cream that my docter gave me.. but nothing.. also a lotion to lighten the skin but nothing.. but ended with no results

Ever since I can remember I've had these bumps on my right leg, they start out as a skin colored bump and turn into a dark brown bump, they don't hurt or itch. I am chinese by the way. Same Issue - Pregnancy Related?

I've developed a very similar issue in the last few days, but for now it's isolated to just my right inside thigh, just above my knee: itchy, unraised, brown spots. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, but I'm still a week from knowing if I am or not. Did your doctors ever give you a possible reason for the rash?
